Four days fly by when it comes to mobility, technology, and people from all over the world gathered in one place. Intertraffic Amsterdam 2024 was exactly that: an event pulsating with innovation, networking, and business, and Mobilis returned home with a suitcase full of learnings, many qualified contacts, and new opportunities for projects in different markets.

Between quick meetings at the counter, demonstrations at the booth, and conversations that started with a “hello” and ended with “let’s schedule a call,” the fair showed (again) why it is a global benchmark for those who work with infrastructure, traffic management, smart mobility, road safety, and parking.

Next, we’ve compiled the main highlights of our participation and the official figures for the 2024 edition to put everything into perspective.

Intertraffic 2024 in numbers

If you weren’t there, here’s an accurate portrayal of the event’s scale:

  • 850+ exhibiting companies and organizations from 50 countries.
  • Nearly 30,000 participants over four days, coming from 143 countries.
  • The 2024 edition was announced as the largest yet, with 13 halls and 125+ sessions in the content program (Summit & Demonstration Programme).

When you put these numbers side by side, it becomes clear why Intertraffic is the kind of event where a hallway conversation can turn into a partnership, a pilot project, local distribution, or all of the above.

The Mobilis stand: technology applied to what matters on the street.

Mobilis went to Amsterdam with a simple goal: to demonstrate, in practice, how technology and data can make traffic enforcement and road safety more efficient, with a real impact on the daily lives of cities, highways, and operators.

During the event, our booth became a meeting point for visitors interested in topics such as:

  • Smarter and more precise oversight, with reliable processes from the field to the back office;
  • Data-driven management, providing greater clarity for decision-making and prioritizing actions;
  • More efficient operations, with technology that helps scale performance without losing control;
  • Road safety as a goal, connecting engineering, enforcement, and management.

Connections and opportunities

Throughout Intertraffic 2024, Mobilis spoke with a wide variety of people, but they all had one thing in common: everyone was seeking greater efficiency, control, and security in their operations.

Among the visitors and contacts generated, we had authorities and public bodies (municipal and regional), highway operators and concessionaires, integrators and companies that assemble end-to-end solutions, consultancies and partners with international operations, as well as technology players interested in cooperation and interoperability.

This mix is exactly the type of audience that makes Intertraffic so important, because you’re not just talking to those who buy, but also to those who influence, implement, operate, and integrate.

Trends seen

Beyond the contacts and opportunities, Intertraffic is the kind of place that gives you a “reality check” on current trends. You leave with your head full of ideas, but also with a clear understanding of what is truly maturing in the market.

The trends that emerged most frequently in both conversations and the overall atmosphere of the fair were:

  • Interoperability is no longer a “differentiating factor” but a prerequisite.
  • Data as a basis for decisions (and not just for reports).
  • Operational efficiency is the “new ROI”.
  • Road safety in the city center.
  • From prototype to scale: less show, more implementation.

Follow-up, meetings and continuity

Mobilis left Intertraffic Amsterdam 2024 with a very clear point: there is demand and room to expand international partnerships and projects when you combine technology, management, and a practical vision of what the operator needs.

If you stopped by our booth at Intertraffic 2024, it was well worth a visit. If it didn’t happen, that’s okay: the conversation can begin now.
